Being 19 now, around about when Manly re-entered in 2003, and found out that they had beaten St george in the 96 GF, the team which my whole dads side of the family goes for.

I was about 6, watching a tape of the 87 kangaroo tour when I told my dad I liked Terry Lamb. After he finished wailing on the back of my head with a phone book he showed me footage of Cliff Lyons... The rest is history.

I live in the Manly-Warringah catchment area. Phil Blake came to my school fete when I was in Year 4 (1982) and his was the first autograph that I got in my autograph book, that was after seeing Manly beat Balmain at Brookvale Oval. The reason I went for Manly was because I thought Kerry Hemsley had a yucky hairstyle! The rest is history! I have been to see them play at Brookvale, interstate, New Zealand and at Headingley in the UK, in more recent years!

I support Canterbury myself ......... Says no one ever lol.
My grandparents were fans from game one in 1947 My parents were fans so it was ingrained into me from a young age.
I love how our club has changed since the merger we are no long the glamor club we have a club that has a real soul and has the best culture both on the field and in the stands.

After moving to Australia & never been exposed to rugby league I went to my first ever footy game which was manly vs tigers & I still remember a try Brett Stewart scored after stealing the ball off from Benji I was screaming & cheering since then I have been hooked on the game it's manly that made me love rugby league & I couldn't be prouder to be a fan of this truly amazing club of champions. Now I bleed maroon & white!

My grandfather was involved in junior rl on the beaches his entire life, living in curl curl and being exposed to his maroon and white eyes I had no choice.

I just decided one day I would go for Manly because of a guy on TV that went for them. I was from Liverpool at the time but many of my friends were Manly fans too (I found out later). Thank goodness I didn't decide to go for the local team. Been with Manly ever since then (1971) and never wavered.

I carried a sweets tray at Brookvale oval when I was 11 years old (sweets, chocs, peanuts). I loved them then and still do. I have taken my son to Brookvale since he was a little fella and now he returns from Brisbane to watch a few games with me. My three grandsons also follow Manly.
