There's the silky skills of Lyon, DCE is a freakish talent, Foz the ultimate competitor but for mine, the Snake remains the most important cog in the Manly machine. Carrying injuries & missing plenty of game time his 2014 preparation has him fit & ready for a huge season. Not usually a stats man, well they help but often don't tell the true story. In Snakes case I think they are 100% accurate with win, loss ratio with & without him on the field. Most think of him as a super attacking weapon but his defence, communication, positional play & ultra competitive streak are also 2nd to none. After feeling concerned about Snakes future due to ongoing issues, he has given himself the best chance to stay on the paddock by getting ultra fit in the off season. All the best to Snake in 2014 - with him healthy, will give this comp a massive shake!! A Snake Shake!

Snake is the exclamation point on the end of a world class back line. His running puts doubt in the minds of defenders, often freeing up others for points by simply threatening a hole and drawing tacklers...
He's an inspiration... The "muse" that brings positivity and freakish skills in attack. He's the general that steers the iron wall of defense. He's the last gasp savior, the thief in the night that leaves opposition players wondering exactly what just happened, he's that few percent that makes all the difference.
The SNAAAAAAKE!!!

Yeah I agree, however DCE is becoming more and more important as he just gets better and better with each game.

If he stays fit he will play origin. He only missed 3 games in 2013 for leg related injuries. The rest were for the knees he copped in the back against Illawarra. That's a good sign that he's finally over the knee rehab

That's a good sign that he's finally over the knee rehab I must (selfishly!) admit that I hope he doesn't play origin... He's so important to us!!
