MANLY says it will review a court's findings against prop Richie Fa'aoso before making any recommendations about potential sanctions to the NRL's integrity unit.
Fa'aoso was on Thursday handed a 12-month good behaviour bond after pleading guilty to drink-driving and resisting arrest following an argument with his pregnant wife on November 24 last year.
He also had his driver's licence suspended for seven months and was fined $2000.
The Sea Eagles said in a statement it respected magistrate Glenn Walsh's decision.
"The club will now internally review the outcomes from the court charges today, before putting forward their disciplinary recommendations to the NRL Integrity Unit," the club said.
"The Sea Eagles will continue in its duty of care to the player, as Richie continues to undergo the necessary NRL supported counseling, while ensuring the welfare of his family." Sea Eagles general manager David Perry said Fa'aoso was genuinely remorseful for his actions.
"He understands the seriousness of what occurred and plans to make amends with everyone involved, especially his family," Perry said.
Fa'aoso did not speak outside court, but used the Manly statement to seek forgiveness.
"I want everyone to know that I apologise wholeheartedly for my actions, and make no excuses," Faaoso said.
"I will do whatever I need to do to get back on track and I again thank my family, the NRL and the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles for their ongoing support during this time."

Based on James Tamou last year you would expect the NRL to suspend Ritchie for a couple of games.
Fair enough too just for the DUI part.
