The club has just tweeted their about to hit the 7500 mark member wise and while it's a great effort. I often wonder how we can have 10s of thousands of Facebook and twitter followers on the clubs official accounts but only 11000-12000 members.
Why do you think people won't sign up?

A lot of different reasons e.g. The price of membership, location, indecisiveness, laziness, fed up with the inconsistency of referee decisions, would rather watch it at home, the list can go on and on...

Maybe because the prices for tickets and food for a family isn't affordable for most families. The NRL and clubs probably need to think of a better way to attract families.

I think the reasons are mainly these.
1) cheaper to stay at home and watch on TV 2) cheaper to stay at home and watch on TV
