Parramatta Eels enforcer Darcy Lussick faces up to six weeks on the sidelines after being slapped with a Grade 4 reckless high tackle charge for his hit on Sydney Roosters prop and former under-20s teammate Jared Waerea-Hargreaves.
Canberra Raiders lock Shaun Fensom was handed a Grade 2 dangerous contact charge and could miss up to two weeks, ruling him out of his side’s first home match of the season against the Gold Coast Titans on Sunday.
Also, Josh McGuire will miss the Brisbane Broncos' clash with the Roosters following his Grade 1 dangerous contact charge; the charge carries 90 judiciary points but McGuire has 13 carry-over points from last year, taking him over the 100-point threshold and automatically ruling him out for one week with an early plea.
Manly Sea Eagles’ Anthony Watmough, Parramatta’s Tim Mannah and the Wests Tigers' Sue Sauaso were also charged with Grade 1 offences but will all escape bans with early pleas.
